
The Castle During the Time of the Piccolominis
Historical interiors from the 17th and 18th centuries, especially the Thirty Years War period, when Náchod was owned by the Imperial commander Ottavio Piccolomini. Rich period furnishings inthe state rooms of the princely residence of Piccolomini display a set of Brussels tapestries, a collection of floral and hunting still lifes, ancestral portrait gallery, some of the earliest library books etc.
